This video will show you how to learn a new skill. A diabolo is not like a yoyo, it is not tied onto a string and because of that you can do much more with it. The diabolo works by spinning. To start the spin of a diabolo you need to roll it on the ground. Roll the diabolo from your right side to your left side, ths is easier if you do it on something flat. Oncew you get to your left side lift up the diabolo and start shaking the right stick up and down.

You want to always stay behind the diabolo. If the front cup goes down then you need to pull the right hand back. If the back cup goes down you need to push your right hand forward.

Once you can get the diabolo started you need to give it more speed so you can do some tricks. To give the diabolo more speed you just need to wrap it. Once you have it wrapped do nice smooth pulls up and down.
