The next fundamental technique that you'll be learning is a walking stance as well as how to properly measure a walking stance. Walking stances are your basic stances on advancing and retreating and are geared mostly towards either attacking an opponent forward or retreating and defending. You're going to step forward first with your right leg, take a medium step, keep your feet should wide, your hands will come to your sides, front leg is bent slightly, rear leg is fully extended and locked, hands are just loosely clenched.
