except that when a cop cuffs you they make sure the lock in towards you elbows so you cant pick it. and the easier way to do it is to wedge the bobby pin in between the teeth from the latch and the main body so it doesn't grip.
the teeth on the swinging part, cover the teeth and push in a little as you apply pressure to slide the pin between.press harder on the pin then on the cuff. its faster too.
Are you serious? What everyday situations do you find yourself in that involved the use of handcuffs? If they involved the police... sorry to hear about it. If they involve the bedroom, hope you are having a good time!
If picking a handcuffs with a bobby pin was that easy, then why didn't the guy picked it while he was wearing one? Not when the poor helpless cuffs were lying on the table? My dog could pick cuffs better that you do.
But like when I am in jail and even most of the times I have gotten arrested they use some kind of pin in the bottom that you have to have another key to open. Useless.
Only problem with this is they are not the type of handcuffs the coppers use.The ones the cops use have the key slot down where the chain joins and it has a little knob that they turn which locks them in place.They dont have a keyhole that looks like an old wardrobe lock.
