Hello my name is Afton on behalf of Expert Village.com and today we are going to talk about how to remove the stale fuel from your lawnmower.
So there is a few ways you can do it. Personally I like to use a siphon. Most of these are available in your local hardware store and usually cost $5 to $10. Make sure you have an empty gas can for your stale fuel that you are not going to be using. Take the top off. You mount one end in your gas tank and then you want your other end like this with your finger over it so you can build up some pressure so you can siphon the gas out.
Now it is going to be few minutes and if you are patient, it should not be a big deal but it will take you a couple of minutes to get it all out. You watch the gas pour from your siphon into your gas can. Sometimes if you feel like the long end is not working for you, switch it around, put the short end in and try to build up pressure from the other end and see if that works better for you. So, build up pressure with your finger, stick the other end in there and watch the gas pump on out into your tank. It will take you a couple of minutes but if you are pretty patient, it will get you to where you are going and slowly remove all of that stale gas out of your tank.
