Hi my name is Anton and I'm here on behalf of ExpertVillage.com and today I'm going to be demonstrating highlighting and contouring the face. What I'm going to do is I'm going to apply a slightly darker foundation underneath the cheek bone. Now the best way to find this is to even take your brush and kind of roll it right underneath and you can find exactly where that cheek bone is so what I'm doing is I'm just applying a really soft layer of this foundation but it is about 2 shades darker. Now her skin tone being a little bit cooler and a little bit warmer at the same time, I blended a warmer and a cooler tone together, just to give it a natural effect, but at the same time still having enough of an effect to where it can contour her face properly. So I'm just applying a tiny bit underneath the cheek bone and what that's going to do it's going to kind of lift up her cheek bones and strengthen her features a little bit. You can also apply this a little bit on the sides of the nose, just to sculpt the nose a little bit better, and you can also do this a little bit by the temples and kind of wrap it down underneath the cheek bone the same way. This is great for framing the face, it gives the face color where it would natural have color if it was being reflected from the sun. Natural shadows on the face give it a very healthy all over glow. It's also great a little bit immediately under the jaw line, just underneath, just to frame the face as well as on the surface of the chin. Now with highlighting you can use the same brush and you just take a color that's slightly lighter and it looks great just immediately under the eye as well as straight down the surface of the front of the nose and blended out onto the forehead. You want your edges to be really soft and really-really blended, so they are almost not even there, they are just giving a small shadow all over the face. My contact information is [email protected]
