Hi this is Jeff Isbell on behalf of ExpertVillage.com.

Now here's an excellent pair of drills for you. Sorry wrong graphic. Take the patterns I've shown you and practice them this way. First go so slow that you can not make a mistake, that maybe very slow. No matter how clear I make this instruction you will be tempted to go too fast. If you want to learn quickly practice slowly. The second half of this drill is the opposite, once you can perform the pattern perfectly, go crazy.

Play it so fast, that you simply force a mistake. Don't force an error right out of the gate, start pretty fast and build up to the mistake. Then after a few speed runs, go back to step one of this drill. Practice it with all the patterns. By the way, if you're still somewhat of a beginner, use this drill on your chord shapes too.
