The first step in setting up your AWeber account is creating your autoresponder and follow up messages. Compose these letters on your own computer in a plain text editor such as Notepad or WordPad. Note that Microsoft Word is not a plain text editor - do not use Word to compose any of your messages.

When composing your autoresponse and follow up messages, consider including product or service information, "tips and tricks", or testimonials.

Using HTML in Your Messages:
HTML can be used in your autoresponder and follow up messages. However, do recognize that some email programs that your leads use do not support HTML. In this case you should always include a plain text version of your message in the "text message" box so that those non compatible email programs will display the plain text version of your message instead of HTML.
