Hi, this is Beamer, and today we are dismantling and cleaning out a moped carburetor. We've already cleaned the carb out and now we're about to reattach it to the manifold of the engine. First you need to thread the throttle cable through the elbow of the top of the carb. And just slide it through where it comes out and then take your main slide and we want to...I guess I should point out this thing. You'll notice in the top of the carburetor there's a small fitting, which is a gasket. You want to make sure to not damage this in any way and make sure that no air enters the carb through the top fitting.

You want to thread the throttle cable through the center of the spring, and if you look through the top, you can see a larger and a smaller hole. You want to slide the throttle cable through the larger hole and then knock it over to the smaller hole, and it'll stick. Then you take your choke slide and attach it to the rod and it has an indention on the choke slide that it slides into the main slide of the carb. After you attach those pieces, you'll need to put it back into the carb. You'll notice in the carb, you have a circular hole, and a flat hole with a choke slide. You need to position it- you'll notice on the side of the main slide it has a groove in it. In the top of the carb, you'll see there's a slight notch in the hole for that groove to slide into. Slide it through in that direction and then, it's kind of hard, but you have to position it right where you can get them both into place and it'll slide right back on. While it's in there, you want to take your screwdriver. Screw the top of the carb back on.

Now we're going to attach the carb back onto the engine. Slide it over the intake manifold and then just, you'll kind of have to force it on, but just wiggle it around and it'll slide right on. Be sure to reattach your fuel line to the carb, and then tighten the screw that holds it against the intake manifold. Double check it to make sure it won't slide around. Take your air box, and attach it back to the end of it. And that's how you reattach a carburetor.
