In a previous video from ShowMeHowToDoThis.com, we showed you how to add categories into Movable Type. In this video are going to show you two ways to actually add subcategories: that is categories that are underneath other categories, and to do it in a very simple way.

So, one way that you can actually create a subcategory, well, when you want to create an actual category, you do that by adding it here.

So I'm creating a category called lemonade. But let's say I wanted to create a category inside of lemonade called, oh, I don't know, lemons. Well that's how I would do it.

I would simply go to the category itself, and underneath the category I would click create, which is actually create subcategory. And so for example here, I have the lemons category. Well maybe I want a category for Sweet lemons. So I am going to go ahead and type in sweet, and click create subcategory, and then I'm going to go back to this lemons category. And then I am going to click create and create a subcategory underneath lemons for sour.

So now I have Sweet and sour lemons (as categories).
