Hello I'm Erica Saylors and this is my assistant model, Ashley Charlton. Today we're here to talk about how to model in a swimsuit for a pageant. First of all it is important to remember to keep your head up, your shoulders back, your back straight and be smiling at all times. When you're walking forward, walk briskly with lots of energy, bouncing a little bit, when stopping scan the crowd from left to right smiling. Make a turn around, letting your head turn last. Count one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand turn back around leading with your head. It is important to remember that the judges are looking for excellent posture, and a good figure. Make sure you prepare accordingly for the swimsuit competition by exercising regularly and keeping a good diet. When walking off the stage, pivot turn and keep your eyes on the audience and the judges until you are seen no more and that is preparing for the swimsuit competition while modeling for a pageant.
